Metropolia’s research part concentrates on piloting a ballistocardiographic sleep analysis to recognize stress and burnout as a part of a preventive occupational therapy intervention. Sleep and the quality of sleep is one of the life areas commonly affected by stress. There is an increased interest in preventive, easy-to-use devices for monitoring health and well-being in the challenging working life – a healthy and happy employee is the best resource for companies! The pilot takes place in autumn 2017 in Helsinki and Tampere (area). The participants will test the sleep sensor for 7 days and take part in an individual interview and intervention therapy plus education (apprx. 4 hours total).
We welcome the employees of your company to test the sleep analysis to recognize stress and burnout and get valuable feedback and intervention for better everyday life!
